Ritho Farmers’ Society Cooperative Ltd was registered under CS No. 7389 in 1995 as a Farmers Cooperative Society Ltd after a split from giant Gatundu Farmers’ Cooperative Society.
It is located in Gatundu South Sub-County in Kiambu County Kenya with an attitude ranging between 1700° and 1900° above sea level. The Society headquarter is at Handege factory and has two wet mills namely;
We carry out farming activities, collect coffee from our registered producers, wet processing, marketing and ensuring payments are made to the respective producers.
Ritho Fcs is committed to quality coffee production through education& trainings to our producers on GAPs as well as sourcing of quality farm inputs at the most favorable prices.
The Society has been encouraging youth and women to participate actively and that has seen an increase in membership. It’s a true indicator that our coffee production will be sustained in years to come as the mantle is handed over effectively.
